Ames Travel Team Tryouts

August 5th and 6th

8:30-9:30am ---8U and 10U

9:30-11am---12U and 14U

Players only need to come to one day of tryouts. Times will be the same both Saturday and Sunday. All participants must register for tryouts at https://www.amesgirlssoftball.org/index.php/registration-player/travel-tryouts . There is not a tryout fee.

In the chart below you will see the breakdown of cost for travel team participants. We are a nonprofit organization and are only passing along the costs we incur from tournament entry fees, rental fees, equipment fees and the cost of paying our coaches for winter clinics and travel league. Our expectation is to utilize parent volunteer coaches for the fall. We will hire paid coaches for winter clinic, spring league and summer season, but will still need parent volunteers to help with practice, keeping score, organizing team information, etc.

Below you will find (1) what is charged per event, (2) what non-travel members will pay per event, (3) what games and practices are included and (4) what the cost breaks down per hour.
