Spring League Information

General Information
The purpose of this league is player / team development.
No official standings will be kept and no awards will be given. It is designed
to give your players and team an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming tournament
season. In general, teams will play 2 games on each date. If you have a conflict,
we will try to accommodate. Teams may request fewer or more games for an adjusted
fee. The cost of the league for 8 games is $290. Paid entries are due March
17. No team will be scheduled until payment has been received.
All non-high school teams must
be registered with Iowa ASA.
All games will be played at
the Hunziker Youth Sports Complex located south of
hwy. 30, at the intersection of Hwys. 30 & 69.
Each team will be scheduled
as home team for 4 games and visitors for 4 games.
The home team listed for each game will provide a
base umpire. The league provides the plate umpire.
All scheduling requests must be submitted in writing
by March 17. Requests received after this date will not be honored.
All game balls will be
provided by the league.
1 hour, 15 minute time limit
on all games.
Due to time constraints and
other schedules that need to be met, rained out
games may not be made up. Rather, teams will be
given a prorated refund for any games canceled.
Helmets must have a face guard and chin strap. Metal
spikes permitted in the High School league only.
In the interest of player/team development ASA rules
will apply for U10 - U14 leagues and high school rules will apply to High
School league with the following exceptions:

No per inning limit on
visits by a coach to the mound. Just please don't
abuse this rule exception. |

Five run limit per inning
all ages. |
