General Information

In addition to our recreational league, AGSA sponsors traveling tournament teams in the 8 & Under, 10 & Under, 12 & Under and 14 & Under age divisions. Placement on these teams is through a competitive tryout process. During tryouts, only players, evaluators and facilitators are allowed to be present. Parents may observe from a distance. Evaluators are qualified individuals with no children involved in the tryouts. In order to be eligible for 12 & under and 14 & under you must attend two tryouts, and must participate in a local recreational softball league/middle school team. In order to be eligible for 10 & under you must participate in a local recreational softball league/school team and attend one tryout. Financial aid is available for those who need assistance. Parents are invited to attend a brief informational meeting during tryouts. Information regarding the selection process and requirements will be discussed. We would like to take this opportunity to answer any questions. A tentative tournament schedule will be presented and discussed with you at this time.
